murals from the past few years
This MuraL was Commissioned by the City of Monroe - Artists were supposed to create a mural that represents the city. Mine was titled "Monroe Flash Sheet" and the style was inspired by classic tattoo designs/illustrations. The flaming magnolia is representative of the magnolia trees that line the Ouachita river and are found all throughout the city.  The Warhawk Plane Represents Monroe's aviation history and is the University of Louisiana at Monroe's Mascot. The Albino alligator represents the Louisiana Purchase zoo where we have several freshly hatched ones, while the green represents our wild alligators found in the bayou!
